The Person Behind the Company
MyCourier was founded and is led by Moatassem Moatez — a serial entrepreneur, community builder, and one of Oakville’s most recognized business leaders.
Before launching MyCourier, Mo led marketing and sales teams at global multinationals including Unilever and Nestlé. He co-founded a startup that secured a major partnership with a leading tech company, then went on to fund several successful ventures before his family relocated to Oakville — where he built MyCourier from the ground up.
In 2022, the Oakville Chamber of Commerce named him Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2024, MyCourier received the Canadian SME National Business Award. Mo has spoken on some of the world’s most prominent platforms — TEDxRIT, Rise-up, the Dubai Chamber, the Dubai SME Forum — and has spent years advocating for newcomers to Canada building businesses in communities like ours.
In September 2025, Mo was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce — the region’s foremost business leadership body. It’s a recognition of everything he’s built here, and everything he continues to give back.
