Some finish lines
change everything.
It doesn't matter if you're chasing a personal best or crossing a finish line for the very first time. On Father's Day morning, with Lake Ontario at your side and 800 people around you, something shifts. You start as a runner. You finish as someone who did the thing.
The Bronte Harbour Classic 5K is Oakville's inaugural waterfront race — flat, fast, and built for every pace. Then stay all day for the festival.
Flat · Paved · Waterfront
The Most Beautiful
5K in Oakville.
You start at Bronte Harbour Marina with the lake ahead of you. The course follows the waterfront trail east along Lakeshore Road — smooth pavement, no hills, nothing between you and the water. At the 2.5K turnaround you'll catch your breath, grab water, and realize you're exactly halfway through one of the most scenic routes in the region.
Then you turn back. The marina comes into view. The crowd at the finish line grows louder. That last stretch — you'll remember it.

Every Runner Has a Story
This race is for you.
No pace requirement. No minimum age. No pressure. Just you, the lake, and 5 kilometres of waterfront ahead of you.
Your First 5K
The hardest part is signing up. The course is flat, the crowd is warm, and nobody cares how long it takes you. Cross that finish line and you'll know exactly why people keep doing this.
Chasing a PB
Flat, fast course. Chip timing with gun-to-finish splits. Competitive field. $1,600 prize purse. ON Running shoes for podium finishers. If you've been training for something worth racing — this is it. Not sure what time to target? Our average 5K time guide by age can help you set a realistic goal.
Running It on Father's Day
Whether you're running as a dad, running with your dad, or running in memory of one — June 21st means something. Share the morning with your family. They'll cheer you across the line.
Running with the Family
Strollers are welcome on course. The kids run the Speak Squad Kids 1K Fun Run at 8:00 AM. You run the 5K at 8:30 AM. Then everyone meets at the festival and nobody has to agree on what to do for the rest of Father's Day.

A few things to know
We want race day to be smooth, safe, and fun for everyone. Here's what to keep in mind:
Strollers welcome. We love that you're running with your family. Start toward the back so faster runners have room — then own that course.
Headphones are fine. Keep the volume low enough to hear course marshals — they're there to keep you safe and moving.
No bikes, scooters, or dogs on course. Save the leash run for the morning after — race day the course is yours on foot only.
Wear your bib on your front. Chip timing needs a clear line of sight to the bib — keep it visible and you'll get an accurate result.
Registrations are non-transferable. For insurance reasons we can't swap bibs between participants — but your entry is yours to show up and use.
Register Early. Pay Less.
Price increases at each registration tier — the sooner you sign up, the more you save.
