After the inaugural year, the single most common request we heard was simple: give us 10 kilometres. So we did. The Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 10K debuts on Father's Day morning — chip-timed, competitive, and run start to finish.

Same waterfront start line. Same festival waiting for you afterwards. Twice the race.

Please Read Before You Register

The 10K is a run — not a run or walk.

Unlike the 5K, the 10K is a running event only. Entrants are expected to run the full distance and maintain a continuous running pace so the course can reopen on schedule. Walkers, strollers, and walk-run intervals are not permitted on the 10K course.

If you'd rather walk it, take part in the 5K run or walk instead — it's the same morning, the same finish line, and strollers are welcome there.

The 10K Course
Will Be Announced.

The 10K route is still going through the Town of Oakville's road-permit and traffic-control review. Until that approval is granted we won't publish a map — we'd rather tell you nothing than tell you something that changes.

What we can tell you: the 10K starts and finishes at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park, alongside the 5K, and it will be certified, fully marshalled, and chip-timed. The full route and elevation profile will be posted on the course map page as soon as it is approved, and every registered runner will be emailed the moment it goes live.

Splitting Up the Family

You take the 10K. They take the 5K, or the kids take the Speak Squad Kids 1K at 8:00 AM. Everyone meets at the festival afterwards.

A few things to know

We want race day to be smooth, safe, and fun for everyone. Here's what to keep in mind for the 10K:

Running event only. The 10K is not a run or walk. No walkers and no strollers on the 10K course — the 5K is the run-or-walk, stroller-friendly option.

Headphones are fine. Keep the volume low enough to hear course marshals — they're there to keep you safe and moving.

No bikes, scooters, or dogs on course. Race day the course is yours on foot only.

Wear your bib on your front. Chip timing needs a clear line of sight to the bib — keep it visible and you'll get an accurate result.

Registrations are non-transferable. For insurance reasons we can't swap bibs between participants — but your entry is yours to show up and use.
