Welcome Runner's Den Burlington — Official Running Store Partner of the Bronte Harbour Classic

We’re proud to welcome Runner’s Den Burlington as an Official Partner of the Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K.

Runner’s Den is one of Canada’s most respected independent running retailers — and this June, they’re opening their brand-new Burlington location on Brandt Street just weeks before our race. The timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Who Is Runner’s Den?

Runner’s Den has been part of the Canadian running community for over 30 years. Built by runners, for runners — they’ve spent three decades fitting athletes at every level, stocking the performance gear that serious runners trust, and getting deeply involved in the events and clubs that make the local running scene what it is.

Their Hamilton location has been a fixture for runners across the Golden Horseshoe. And now, Burlington gets its own store.

Runner’s Den Burlington opens on Brandt Street in May 2026 — making them a brand-new neighbour to our Oakville race and to every runner in the Halton region.

The People Behind the Store

Runner’s Den Burlington is owned and operated by Dan and Michelle — a husband-and-wife team who have spent their careers immersed in the running world. Dan has been involved in race organization for decades, including the Ancaster Mill Race, and knows firsthand what it takes to build an event that means something to the community. Michelle brings the same depth of passion and expertise.

They’re not just retailers — they’re organizers, club builders, and genuine advocates for the sport. When they reached out about being part of the Bronte Harbour Classic, it was clear this was more than a sponsorship. It was a natural fit.

What Runner’s Den Brings to Race Day

Runner’s Den will be at the Bronte Harbour Classic as an active partner — on the ground, engaging with runners, and bringing their community reach to race day promotion.

Through their Burlington and Hamilton running networks and their 20,000+ subscriber email list, they’re helping spread the word about our race to runners across Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, and beyond. For a first-year event building toward 800 participants, that kind of reach matters.

They’re also contributing prizes and swag to the race — because after 30 years in the running industry, they know exactly what runners love to open in a swag bag.

Why This Partnership Fits

The Bronte Harbour Classic is June 21 — Father’s Day. Runner’s Den Burlington opens in May. That means their first major community moment as a Burlington store lands right here, at our race, surrounded by exactly the kind of customers they’ve spent 30 years serving.

We love that kind of alignment. Our race is built by the running community, for the running community. Runner’s Den lives that same value every day.

If you’re picking up new shoes or gear before race day — or looking for expert advice on how to prepare for June 21 — Runner’s Den Burlington will be open and ready. Stop in and say hello.

Race Day Is June 21, 2026
