Host Running Club — this is their race. Provided the grassroots energy, local knowledge, and volunteers behind the whole event.

The Bronte Harbour Classic is the Bronte Runners Club’s race.

With more than 700 members across Oakville and Burlington, the club provided the grassroots energy, local course knowledge, and volunteer army that made the inaugural 2026 Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K possible — from water stations to course marshals to the finish-line crew. Title sponsors and partners give a race its polish, but a club like this gives it its soul: hundreds of neighbours who lace up together, show up for each other, and turned a Father’s Day morning into something the whole community could call its own.

Every race needs a heart. The Bronte Runners Club is ours — and the inaugural Classic is theirs.
