At the 2026 Event
Set up at the Father's Day Waterfront Festival vendor market on race day, serving Nigerian and Afro-fusion favourites.
BusyMom Kitchen is a modern Afro-fusion food brand founded in Oakville in 2024, blending Nigerian heritage with global flavours. What started as a passion for cooking for family and friends has grown into a take-out and catering kitchen with a clear promise: food should feel like home — fresh, flavourful, and made with care. Everything is halal and health-conscious, with every plate thoughtfully built around the essential food groups.
The menu runs from customer favourites like jollof rice slow-cooked in a rich pepper blend, flaky all-butter meat pies, and cream of cauliflower mushroom soup to newer creations like cilantro shrimp sausage pasta and the extra-moist banana velvet loaf. Beyond ready-to-eat meals and lunch plates, BusyMom Kitchen caters for organizations and teams — including corporate lunch programs across Oakville and beyond.
On race day, BusyMom Kitchen brought those bold, comforting flavours to the Father’s Day Waterfront Festival vendor market, feeding the post-race crowd at the 2026 Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K.
Why we love having them at the Classic
Nothing meets a post-race appetite like bold, generous home cooking, and BusyMom Kitchen brought exactly that — jollof rice and Afro-fusion flavour from a kitchen that takes balanced nutrition as seriously as taste. A perfect fit for a running event, and a delicious one.
— The Bronte Harbour Classic race team
Fun factEvery BusyMom Kitchen plate is built around complete food groups — in their words, “we don't just cook, we create balanced meals designed to nourish.”
