At the 2026 Event
Served up festival eats from a food truck at the Father's Day Waterfront Festival, sampling and sharing local Ontario producers.
Locado is Ontario’s online farmers market — a 2025-founded startup building a digital bridge between local farms and the families who want to eat from them. Order directly from farms, not factories: producers on Locado keep their own name, their own story, and their own customers, and Locado handles the storefront and delivers to your door across Oakville, Mississauga, and the Hamilton region.
The idea is to make buying local as convenient as the grocery store without losing what makes a farmers market a farmers market. The team works with local farmers, bakers, and chefs across Ontario, centralizes their products in one marketplace — there’s even a Locado app for browsing vendors and building a single cart from multiple producers — and brings it all to the community’s doorstep.
On race day, Locado rolled its food truck into the Father’s Day Waterfront Festival, sampling and sharing local producers as the 2026 Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K came home along the harbour.
Why we love having them at the Classic
A race that celebrates its own backyard was always going to hit it off with a marketplace built to keep food local. Locado gives Ontario's small farms and bakers a digital storefront without losing their names or their stories — the same community-first spirit the festival runs on.

Fun factLocado's Instagram home base is listed at 502 Cafe in Oakville — the café of fellow festival vendor 502 URBAN COFFEE, parked just a few booths away on race day.
