At the 2026 Event
Set up at the Father's Day Waterfront Festival with kid-friendly games and visitor information pointing people to Oakville's local businesses and attractions.
Visit Oakville is the town’s official destination marketing organization — an incorporated not-for-profit, established as the Oakville Tourism Partnership in 2009 and led by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from the local tourism and business community. Its mission is to drive economic impact for Oakville through marketing and partnerships, curated visitor experiences, and advocacy for the local tourism industry.
Fittingly for this race, Visit Oakville’s home base sits right in Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park. At the Father’s Day Waterfront Festival, their booth ran kid-friendly games and handed out visitor information, pointing runners and spectators toward Oakville’s restaurants, attractions, and local businesses — many of them a short walk from the course.
You’ll find Visit Oakville among the local organizations, food vendors, and small businesses that brought the 2026 Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K Father’s Day Waterfront Festival to life.
Why we love having them at the Classic
Visit Oakville has spent years telling people the waterfront is worth the trip — and on race morning, 800+ runners and their families proved the point. Having the town's own tourism team at the festival, steps from their office, felt exactly right.
