Full Day Timeline

  1. Logistics

    Bib Pickup Opens at Venue

Last chance to collect your race kit at the venue. We strongly recommend picking up Friday at Runner's Den Burlington (Brant Street) or Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Oakville (South Service Road) to keep race morning smooth.

  2. Logistics

    Road Closures Begin

Lakeshore Road remains open. Access roads into the park (Bronte Road and Jones Nelson) will be closed from Lakeshore. Please plan alternate routes and arrive early.

  3. Race

    Warm-Up & Bag Drop

Warm up with fellow runners on the festival grounds. Bag drop available near the start line.

  4. Festival

Festival Opens — Food Vendors & Expo

The Father's Day Waterfront Festival kicks off. Food vendors, Fortinos refreshments, and the full vendor market are open. Come hungry.

  5. Race

Speak Squad Kids 1K Fun Run

The day's first race! Young runners take to the waterfront course for a non-timed, fun-first run. Every child gets a finisher medal. Parents welcome to run alongside. Registration required — not included with 5K entry.

  6. Race

    5K Race Start

The inaugural Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K begins. Chip-timed, flat waterfront course. All ages and abilities welcome. Time limit: 1 hour 15 minutes.

  7. Festival

    Vendor Market

50+ local businesses, artisans, and specialty vendors. Browse, shop, and support local.

  8. Festival

    Kids Zone Opens

Jumping castle, face painting, games, and activities — running until 3:00 PM. Kids who finished the 1K and families whose runners just crossed the 5K finish line, this is your next stop.

  9. Race

    Prize Presentations & Awards

Overall and age group awards presented at the main stage. $1,600 in cash prizes and ON Running shoes for podium finishers. Stick around and cheer on the people who earned it.

  10. Logistics

    Road Closures End

Access roads reopen to traffic. The festival continues on the park grounds through 3:00 PM.

  11. Entertainment

Live Bands on the Main Stage

Local bands take over the main stage with a mix of music to suit every mood — something to dance to, something to sit on the grass with, something to let the morning unfold to. Lake Ontario as the backdrop. Pull up a blanket, grab a drink, and settle in.

  12. Festival

    Beer Garden Opens

Nickelbrook Brewing Company beer garden is open for adults 19+. Craft beer, RTDs, and cold drinks on the harbour through 3:00 PM.

  13. Entertainment

    Mercedes-Benz Grand Prize Draw

One of the biggest moments of the festival — Mercedes-Benz Oakville takes the main stage for the grand prize draw. You must be present to win. Plan your day around this.

  14. Logistics

    Festival Ends

Thank you for celebrating Father's Day at Bronte Harbour. See you next year!
