We started planning the Bronte Harbour Classic 18 months ago with one question: what does success look like in year one?
We said: fill the course. Build something the community actually shows up for. Send every runner home with a memory worth repeating.
We filled the course. And then some.
Runners are coming from Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Hamilton, and cities across the region. Families. First-timers. Runners chasing a personal best. Every one of them chose to spend Father’s Day morning with us on the Bronte waterfront.

Bronte Harbour Classic Race Day Festival — Full Lineup
The Bronte Harbour Classic race is one part of the morning. From 8 AM through 3 PM, Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park becomes a free waterfront festival — open to everyone, no bib required.
Here’s the full lineup:
- Two live bands — Performing on the waterfront stage throughout the morning
- Beer garden — Cold drinks at the harbour courtesy of Nickelbrook Brewing Company, opens 10:30 AM
- Kids zone — Jumping castles and activities for children, open from ~9:30 AM through 3:00 PM
- Vendor market — 50+ local makers, wellness brands, running gear, and community businesses
- Fortinos refreshments — Race finisher fuel right at the finish line
- Prize presentations — $4,000 in prizes awarded on-site at ~9:30 AM

Bib Pickup — Three Windows for Registered Runners
Registered runners have three opportunities to collect their race kit before Sunday. Saturday pickup is strongly recommended.

For Spectators — The Bronte Harbour Classic Is Open to Everyone
You do not need a bib to attend. There is no admission fee and no registration required for spectators.
Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park is one of the best waterfront locations in Oakville on a June morning. Come watch the 8:30 AM start, cheer at the finish line, stay for the prize presentations at 9:30 AM, and then two live bands, a beer garden, jumping castles for the kids, and 50+ vendors carry the day through 3 PM.
Neighbours you see at the school or the trail end up at the same finish line. That’s the morning we built.
All donations collected at the Bronte Harbour Classic go to the Oakville Dads Community Fund — supporting Oakville families through sports, education, and community programs. We are proud to be part of this community.

The inaugural Bronte Harbour Classic 5K isn’t finished, and we’re already building year two.
A 10K distance is planned for 2027. The community response — 840 runners, sold out before Father’s Day, families coming from across the region — tells us this race has a real future in Oakville. We intend to grow it into something the region looks forward to every June.
