Every finisher deserves something worth running for.
Today we’re revealing the official finisher medal for the Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K — Father’s Day 2026.
We had one requirement going in: it had to be specific to this place. Not a generic road race medal with a logo slapped on. Something that, when you pick it up in ten years, tells you exactly where you were and why it mattered. What came back exceeded everything we imagined.
The Finisher Medal

The medal is cast in antique silver with hand-finished details on every surface. Oval, solid, substantial — the kind of thing you hang on the wall rather than put in a drawer.
The design tells a story of place.
The Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star anchors the top — large, proud, and unmistakably the mark of the title sponsor who made this race possible. Not a small logo in a corner. It commands the piece.
Below it, in deeply sculpted relief, is the Bronte Harbour waterfront — the view runners and their families know well:
- The Bronte lighthouse on the right, rendered in architectural detail — the tower, the windows, the railing, the trees at the base
- The Bronte marina on the left — the covered dockhouse, mast-tops rising from the water, harbour benches along the path
- The waterfront itself running between them, complete with park benches and waterline detail
This is the view from the festival grounds. The same scene you’ll see when you cross the finish line on June 21. It’s on the medal.
“Bronte Harbour Classic 5K — Father’s Day Race” is inscribed across the centre, with “Presented by Mercedes-Benz Oakville” and the MB star at the base.
The Ribbon

The ribbon is black with the red accent line that defines the AMG performance brand. “BRONTE HARBOUR CLASSIC” runs along both sides. The clasp carries the Mercedes-Benz star.
When you wear this medal, there is no mistaking what it is or where it came from.
Podium Medals — Gold, Silver, and Bronze
Every finisher earns the antique silver medal. The top three finishers in each category earn something more.

Podium finishers — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each age category and in the overall open standings — receive the same design in gold, silver, and bronze plate. Same lighthouse. Same marina. Same Mercedes-Benz star. A different finish that marks exactly where you stood on race day.
This applies to both men and women across all competitive age categories, including the masters division (35+).
The podium medals are not participation awards. They are earned. And because they share an identical design with the finisher medal, the full set — antique silver, bronze, silver, and gold — tells a story that only gets more interesting with time.
This Is a Collector’s Item
We’ve both run a lot of races. We’ve collected a lot of medals. Most of them are in a box somewhere.
This one is different — and we say that knowing how that sounds.
The difference is that this is Year 1. The inaugural Bronte Harbour Classic. The first time this race was ever run. The first medal ever awarded at this finish line.
A generic race medal says you finished a race. This medal says you were there on Father’s Day 2026 — in the first year this event existed — when runners showed up to start a tradition in a community they love.
That context doesn’t fade. It compounds.
A decade from now, when the Bronte Harbour Classic has thousands of finishers in its history and runners are circling their calendars every January, the 2026 medal will be the one that started it all. The runners who earn it on June 21 will know that — and so will everyone who sees it on their wall.
Collect yours on Father’s Day. In a few years, it will be worth far more than a race entry.
A Note on the Partnership
The Mercedes-Benz star at the top of this medal is not incidental.
Mercedes-Benz Oakville didn’t just lend their name to this race — they got involved. They’re hosting race kit pickup at the dealership the day before the race. They’re putting a pace car at the front of the field on race morning. They’re sending 1,000 co-branded t-shirts into swag bags.
Their name is on this race because they earned the right to put it there. The medal reflects that partnership honestly. It belongs to both the community and the sponsor — and it does justice to both.
Father’s Day. June 21. Bronte Harbour.
This medal is waiting for you at the finish line.
The 5K course runs through the streets of Bronte, past the marina, and back to the harbour — the same waterfront that’s on the face of the medal in your hand. The Kids 1K Fun Run gives every child aged 2 to 12 their own finish line moment, their own bib, their own finisher medal.
Food trucks, live atmosphere, a Nickel Brook beer garden, the vendor expo, the AMG Grand Prize Draw, and an afternoon by the water with your family. Race day is June 21, 2026. Father’s Day.
